On Memorial Day, the Smithtown Fire Department held its annual service and parade to honor those who have given their lives for our freedom. The memorial service was conducted before a contingent of American Legion and VFW veterans. At the conclusion of the program members of the department marched in the annual Memorial Day Parade.
