The Smithtown Fire Department held the first Mankuski Park drill of the season on Monday, May 2. Mankuski is the Town of Smithtown Fire Training Center. The drill recreated a scenario of a two-story residential dwelling fire. During the spring and summer the Department trains at both Mankuski Park as well as the Suffolk County Fire Academy in Yaphank.![]()
